I've already touched on this before in greater detail, but the Syracuse schedule is as stacked as I can remember in quite some time.
There are 6 guaranteed games against preseason top 25 teams, and some of the top recognized name schools in the country at that.
#4 Duke (2 times)
#11 UNC
#22 Notre Dame
#24 Indiana
#25 Virginia
And that list doesn't even count a potential Maui Invitational title game against either Gonzaga (#14) or Baylor (#26 - first in others receiving votes), plus a potential game against California in the Maui semifinals, and guaranteed games against Villanova and Pittsburgh (twice), all of whom also received votes in the preseason polls and could potentially be top 25 teams by the time they face Syracuse if things break right.
With the game against Indiana being one of the premier matchups in the ACC / Big Ten Challenge and the home game against Duke being the College Gameday matchup that week, there will be plenty of opportunity for headline making wins and Player of the Year moments for C.J. Fair (as I will cover in more detail later).
Get ya' popcorn ready, there's going to be plenty of reason to jump around this year.
